At Paladin Retrieval word processing is our second hat.

Although medical transcription is our main focus, we also offer a wide variety of services in word processing.  From a page length resume to a full manuscript, we can offer quick turnaround on your project with prompt revisions. We can provide either Microsoft Word or WordPerfect versions of your files and can convert files to  the Apple Mac format as well.  We can create macros in either WordPerfect or Microsoft's Visual Basic.  Need spreadsheets? We can handle Microsoft Excel or WordPerfect Quattro to your specifications. We have an array of desktop publishing services for newsletters, flyers and a host of other publishing services.  For medical transcriptionists we can create or convert word lists for the major word expanders.  In the sidebar you will find a list of the various services we are able to provide.  Feel free to contact us if your needs encompass something which is not listed.  Our turnaround will depend upon the size of the project and our present workload. 

Many of the functions which used to be performed by desktop publishing can now be done with word processing programs.  Take a look at the sidebar at the right to get an idea of some of the things we can do.  Some of these are performed in either Corel WordPerfect or Microsoft Word while others are done in graphics packages like Corel Graphics Suite or Adobe Photoshop.  While the term desktop publishing has become a bit antiquated and replaced by electronic publishing, the functions have spread across a wide variety of programs.  Please check the Electronic Publishing page to get a better handle on the various programs that we use.
